Poolside Glow: Behind the One-Piece Shoot
Some shoots just feel like summer from the second you arrive. Our latest pool day was exactly that—a day built around sunlight on the water, easy laughter, and our one pieces taking center stage.
We wanted this shoot to feel like the kind of slow, dreamy pool afternoon you never want to end. Think: toes skimming the water, SPF and lip gloss in the towel pile, music humming in the background. With every frame, the goal was simple—show how effortless a one piece can be when it’s actually designed to move with you, not against you.
Seeing our one pieces lined up at the pool was a moment on its own. Clean silhouettes, dipped necklines, open backs, and those curve-hugging cut outs you know we obsess over—each look brought something a little different to the water. Some shots felt sporty and sleek, others were more sultry and sculpted, but together they told one story: one pieces don’t have to be “safe.” They can be just as confident, cheeky, and statement-making as your favorite bikini.
Behind the camera, it was all about capturing movement: walking along the edge of the pool, slipping in and out of the water, stretching out on a lounge chair with the sun hitting just right. We styled each look with simple finishing touches—dainty jewelry, natural makeup, and wet and air-dried hair—to keep the focus on the fit and the feel of the suits themselves.
By the end of the day, our camera rolls were full and our hair was a little saltier, but the vibe stayed the same: easy, confident, and completely at home by the water. This shoot reminded us why we love designing one pieces so much—they’re made for the moments when you’re really living in your swim, not just posing in it.
Because whether you’re diving in, floating for hours, or just claiming your favorite lounge chair, the right one piece doesn’t just look good on camera—it makes the whole day feel better.
